Batik Wearable Treasures
Flaming Pearl is a collection of colorful, comfortable, and casual clothing. The high quality batik line is hand dyed in Bali with some of my original designs and a heavy emphasis on nature or cultural symbols for patterns. The batik styles include dresses, tops, tunics, pants, skirts, mens, girls dress, headbands, sarongs, and select plus sized dresses.
Thailand Mudmee Tie Dye
I also have a large selection of fun tie dyed spandex clothing from Thailland including halter tops, tops, pants, leggings, skirts, tunics, long sleeved tunics, cardigans, and vests depending on the season. What is the difference between Batik and Tie dye? Tie dye and Batik are alike in that they both use “resist” techniques, but that's where the similarity ends. Batik is a more controlled, detailed process using melted wax as a resist to draw a design or pattern onto material.
Beyond Batik
Other accessories or Bohemian wear may range from snap hip bags for festival, lightweight elephant aladdin style pants, cotton razor cut jackets, shoulder bags, purses, wool hats, and traditional tapestries from India. This inventory is generally seasonal or only available for a limited time.
